The turning tool hole has a plastic plug in it, the t-conv hole is covered by a plate with two bolts.

If your looking a an automatic, I would look for a aftermarket preferably an Allison kit. Dodge stock automatic are not that reliable(I've blew up 3 a518s). There are aftermarket built up ones avail. usually $2,200 upto $8,000 for an ATS stage V(sled pulling) trans. From my memory the manual was a Getrag G360 and the auto was a A618/47RH
