i just did a timing belt change on 1991 crx. according to my manual the tensioner bolt should be 33 foot pound or about 400 inch-lbs torque.make sure you use a six pointed 14mm socketso you won't round out the bolt head. since your a/c mount bolts are stationary they should be tightened about two hundred inch pound; your a/c belt should have 1/8 to 1/4 inch detent on the longest part of the belt and then tighten the nut on the pulley then tighten the adjustment screw. hope this help

INSTALLATION (1) Install pulley and pulley bolt to tensioner. Tighten bolt to 61 N·m (45 ft. lbs.) torque. (2) Install tensioner assembly to mounting bracket. An indexing tab is located on back of tensioner. Align this tab to slot in mounting bracket. Tighten nut to 67 N·m (50 ft. lbs.) torque. (3) Connect all wiring to ignition coil. CAUTION: To prevent damage to coil case, coil mounting bolts must be torqued. (4) Install coil to coil bracket. If nuts and bolts are used to secure coil to coil bracket, tighten to 11 N·m (100 in. lbs.) torque. If coil mounting bracket has been tapped for coil mounting bolts, tighten bolts to 5 N·m (50 in. lbs.) torque. (5) Install drive belt. (Refer to 7 - COOLING/ACCESSORY DRIVE/DRIVE BELTS - INSTALLATION). (6) Check belt indexing marks (Fig. 4).

There are two belts - one to drive the power steering pump near the firewall and the other to drive the alternator and A/C compressor. Each belt has a tensioner. To change, raise front passenger side of car and put on jackstand. Remove wheel/tire and remove splash shield which will give access to the belts and tensioners. Loosen mounting bolts in the center of tensioners, then loosen the tensioner adjustment bolts which can be reached from the bottom of the tensioner. Remove belts, put new ones on and re-tighten the tensioner adjustment bolts. Then re-tighten the tensioner mount bolts to torque spec.
