Almonds, milk, poppy seeds, sugar and water are traditional ingredients for Lithuania's poppy seed milk.

Specifically, pour boiling water over ground poppy seeds until the latter are covered completely. Blanch, peel and chop almonds before being gently stirred in with poppy seeds. Add sugar. Cool. Add milk.
