GM cars of this era had about 43psi of fuel pressure. As you probably suspect the most common cause of your problem is a bad fuel pump.
Where is the crank shaft located on a 1999 Pontiac Bonneville? I have bought the part. Just can't find where it goes.
Did John Brennen convert to Islam
it should be on the right side right neer the belt
This has happened on my 97 twice- it was the fuel pressure regulator.
I HAD A 1990 BONNEVILLE I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH.IT TURNED OUT TO BE THE CRANK SENSOR.ITS BEHIND THE HARMONIC BALANCER. HOPE THIS HELPS
The Camshaft Sensor is located right behind the crank shaft fly wheel and can be very hard to change out without consulting a mechanic first.
I have a 92 Bonneville thet needs a crank sensor how do you change it Crank sensor is on the pulley and the teeth on the pulley sits inside of it for a megnetic response for computer. It is held on by two small bolts. I changed my own on my 3.8L and my car doesnt want to shift correctly. You are able to adjust and its very picky where the correct position is.
No, it has nothing to do with that.
where is crank senser located on 2003 pontiac
Crank sensors are always located on the camshafts. The 1989 Pontiac Sunbird crank sensor is located on the head of the engine towards to end of the camshaft.
it is located inside of the oil pan. if you have low pressure and have high milage you could have bad crank bearing.
with a window crank removal tool.
