The door lock relay is the culprit. where it is I have not a clue so far.
PCM, Relays, Power locks, wiring
it might be a safety thing
You probably have a electrical short or more likely your batteries are going dead in your alarm key pad thing, on your key ring.
The driving distance is approximately 165 miles.
There may be a short in the relay between the door locks and the switch. First check the wiring between the locking mechanism and the switch, if that check out it may be a short in the fuse itself.
432 miles
Masterlock is recognized around the world for reliable locks. The locks are tough under fire, pressure, driving cars over them, and determined copper thieves trying to cut locks on cable cars.
you need to put a solenoid in-line with the linkage that operates your vertical or horizontal locking button or flip lock.
Locks up
please I have a 1998 Saturn coupe SC 2 both power door locks out the same time 3 weeks ago. Is the fuse box for door locks under the hood or in the auto. next question could it be the switch on the door behind the lock itself, but why both out the same time? thank you very much.
I have a 2001 Nissan quest, recently my door locks are malfunction, when I pull the door in it locks, when key in ignition it locks, what cause this problem?
If my 'malfunction' you mean they open/close themselves while driving? (sorta like a demon possession?) It could be related to a common problem with door ajar sensors. See "Related Questions" below for more about fixes and repairs to these vexing problems (exorcisms not covered though...)
