It takes time to get to know each other so you feel comfortable about telling each other more private thoughts. That's normal. You can talk about music (bands, artists, etc.) and what your favorite movies are. There is also a Winter Olympics going on and you could try watching a little on TV and discuss that with him. There are also things going on in the world all around you so pick a subject. Listen to him! Find out what he enjoys and talk about them. Guys usually aren't into useless gossip that girlfriends talk about so I wouldn't even go there. Good luck Marcy
