Guessing you mean that you are nervous about asking out one of your friends, who happens to be the opposite sex (Well I'm not sure but w/e). <br><br>An easy answer to that is try to find out if he/she has a bf/gf at the moment. If not then go ahead and just ask, no harm no foul. If he/she says no, but you still love him/her then keep contact with him/her as a friend it'll make her think you're being more mature about the situation. <br><br>Trust me, it happened to me just a while ago. This girl was one of my good friends and I started to develop a love-feeling towards her and I believed she might have as well, but then the day I asked her out she got asked out earlier in the day. I kept my cool and toke strides. It's actually the day before the big promotion dance for me, and she's been asking me questions about it, feeling interested. I have a good feeling about the dance and I might ask for a dance, but who knows?<br><br>The nervous factor is understandable. I felt extremely nervous every time I saw her. My heart would pump and I would not think over what I would be saying. Don't feel nervous and never have a friend ask out the girl/guy for you. It happened to me actually with the same girl, but I didn't tell him to ask her out for me. We haven't really talked in a while.<br><br>To not be nervous, start out the "Asking Conversation" with some small talk, maybe if you're in the same class ask about homework or what we learned, if something happened on the news that is groundbreaking ask that. Basically, just get a simple conversation between you two going. Lead your way into asking her out. Try to think of sample topics on your way to the main question involving maybe if they have a bf/gf. But! Don't go and ask directly "Hey do you have a bf/gf." out of random. Make it seem like you have a reason to ask. Eventually the person will get your point and you won't be able to not say it. <br><br>If there is a dance coming up. Go ahead and ask, people ask randomly to girls (tip for a guy) if they want to go sometimes for no reason, but YOU have a reason. About 75% of the time they'll say yes. 12.5% they have someone and 12.5% they just dont want to go with you at all. But because he/she's your friend at the moment and you know they don't have someone to go with, they will probably say yes.<br><br>Keep me posted I'm interested on how it'll turn out for you.<br>

∙ 11y agoAsking out someone can be a very daunting thing, particularly if it is your first time or you have had some previous mishaps.
You could do a few things here:
- Just pluck up your courage and ask her out!
- Do it through a method you are comfortable with (i.e. through the phone or through text)
- Ask a close friend to do it for you.
- Seek advice from a close friend or counsellor on what you can do.

∙ 13y agoDepending on what type of person she is theres different approaches to telling her, find out if she likes you first, and if she does, go for it! but if she turns you down dont be upset. you can allways try again, just dont repetidly ask her out...

Try to make reasons where its nessasary to call him. becuase if you call him too see how hes been it might be alittle weird. try calling him to ask him whats the homework for a certain class or something. well hoped it helped. ∙ 9y agoYou realise nothing could go wrong, everyone likes confidence. And if you ask them for their number, they might say no. But if you don't ask, it's a definant no, me, myself all though not that into talking or anything, asked a girl for her number as confidently as I could despite me being me and I got a yes. The whole thing turned out terribly and now we're not talking, but atleast I get a yes. Unfortunately that's all the advice I could give. I've only really gotten that one yes, I usually get a lot of no's
