If there is a track/slide you can use wet or dry graphite lubricant available @ your local NAPA store. If it is a wheel/track I would recommend Slick50 One Lube, also @ your local NAPA Auto Parts store.
Also try using Jig-A-Loo, it is both odorless and greaseless so it will solve your problem without messing up your van, more information at www.jigaloo.com

I have an Olds van and the doors sometimes act up. The doors not working properly seems to be a normal event for all vans. To this day, they still do not have all the bugs worked out. Have you disconnected the battery (change battery, repair on van, etc) or blew a fuse reciently? In most vans the doors have to be reset after such events for them to work properly. You can buy a repair manual from a parts store for the reset procedures.

The best answer I found for my 2002 Astro was to keep the trailer harness inside the van until needed, then simply open the door, bring out the harness, and close the doors with the harness on the floor of the van, coming out between and under the dutch doors. The rubber gaskets around the doors allow the doors to close on the harness without putting a kink in it, even. This protects the harness from weather when not in use.
