Be careful you don't second-guess this man's kindness. He could well be attracted to you, but the magic word is "wife." Whether she is in another building or not, you should have enough confidence and pride in yourself to keep this relationship platonic. Sometimes some married men (some married women as well) just have to feel a younger person or even another person their own age is attracted to them to boost their ego, but, it doesn't stop there. They can pick one person after the other leaving many a young person with a broken heart. I am not accusing you of anticipating a relationship with this man, but beware it doesn't get out of hand. If the two of you were caught there could be one giant blow-out and you'll be the loser and could well lose your job. It's best not to date people in the workplace because if the relationship doesn't work out then you have to see this person every single work day and it can be really hard on the person that is still in love.
