It all depends on how and where you drive. Stop and go traffic or highway. Hard stops or easy stops. Almost all cars today have a warning device that will emit a loud squeal when the pads need replacing. If you hear any squeal when stopping, they need replacing immediately. You can of course inspect the pads for wear at any time.It all depends on how and where you drive. Stop and go traffic or highway. Hard stops or easy stops.
