Coming from the drive wheels? Could be worn CV joints
It could just be that you are burning out the packing inside the muffler, a flapping sound after a quick push on the accelerator probably means that the packing is already gone. could also be an indication of poor ignition on that side of the engine.
your car just drank red bull
Where is the clicking coming from? Within the engine compartment or inside the car?

One thing that can cause a clicking noise under the car is when the bar bushings get worn out on the sway bar. Also, it could be coming from the struts if strut oil is leaking. Other things that can cause a clicking noise if not working properly are the exhaust system and the transmission clutch assembly.
Greetings, I just had the same issue with my Ford Excursion but was doing the clicking noise in reverse and in either 2 wheel drive or 4X4. I went under and checke4d the transfer case shift motor and found the noise coming from there. Changed it and problem solved. Just something to check out. I hear a clicking noise coming from my jeep when I hit speeds greater then 50 MPH? any ideas on what can cause this
