yes, because I had this brown spotting during my first pregnancy, and being the first baby i was more than concerned, and i was asked by the doctor to do complete bed rest for at least 2 months. i was told that there are 2 clots in the womb, one the foetus and the other another blood clot which is dissolving which causes the brown spotting. and if i do not take complete rest i might end up with a miscarriage. and i did as was asked by the doc and thank god i was gifted with a healthy baby........so please rest when you are spotting
