Probably caused by a plugged AC condensation hole. It is at the bottom of the accumulator dryer on the passenger side firewall. The accumulator/dryer looks like a black thermos bottle with a couple of3/8 inch freon lines coming from it.
2004 Pontiacs have a water problem. Water gets into the blower motors and into the blower motor control module and causes this problem.Remove the screws that hold the motor to the dash and see if motor is rusty if it is replace it.If no rust is there replace module.
wife having same problem changed 2 motors water is leaking from topside somewhere into the blower motor put pin holes to make sure and was right now passenger side gets wet when rains from water dripping can't find out how it's getting but the motor still going
Blower motor control relay under dash behind blower motor is bad or has water in it from cabin filter port.
The blower motor on my 94 escort LX is under the glove box. I took my glove box out to get more light down there but it was not necessary. There is a black circular plastic cover that is held in by about 4-5 bolts. Just take those out. There are also a blue/black wire and a harness of 4 wires. Just disconnect them by pulling on the plastic tabs. That should be everything. I have water dripping from my motor. I assume that was what killed it. If you have any ideas on how to stop it, let me know.
Your A/C drain plug is clogged causing water to leak into the blower motor which causes a short. To resolve jack up the car and properly support it using axle stands. Locate the black tube coming out of the firewall near the centre. Using a coat hanger insert into tube until there is resistance the wiggle back and forth until water starts to drip. On the inside of the passenger footwell remove the under dash cover remove the bolts on the blower motor and disconnect the wiring replace the blower motor and reinstall.
Yes. Hot water comes from the water heater. The blower motor propels warm air around the house through the duct-work, but is not connected to the hot water heater in any way.
Heater core leaking?
condensation plate has a hole in it?
The car heater is a vague question. The heater core is not fused, it is like a mini radiator. The blower motor for heat/AC is fused. The selector blower motor resistor is fused in line with blower motor. Now if you lost heat, the water pump is belt driven, not fused.
The Blower motor for the E320 is located on the upper front left side of the engine directly above the water pump. The blower motor is NOT in the engine compartment! The "blower motor" above the water pump is the EGR/Smog pump, part of the emissions system. The actual blower motor for the HVAC system is under the dash, above your feet on the passenger side of the car, just remove the panel and look up. The filters are located behind the glove box (which has to be removed to access the filters). They clog and don't allow the air to blow and eventually will burn out the regulator on the blower motor itself. There are also 2 separate charcoal filters next to the blower motor under the dash that filter smog from the cabin, these are not as crucial to replace, but should be done at some point. (total of 4 filters 96-02 Eclass).
Cracked block or blown head gasket.
check your blower motor, located under the dash board. its on the passenger side. if the leak is on the drivers side, i have no clue. but my hubby's car is leaking water from the blower motor on the passenger side. found out at the car wash...
