Well, actually blue cheese is already actually mold or moldy. But don't worry! It's a speacial kind of mold that is perfectly safe to eat. But if you let cream cheese sit for a really long time it will get moldy.
Deffintly not parmesan it is the driest of all of them. I would say cream cheese because it has more moisture in it than the other you mention.:)
i think cottage cheese because it is very nasty and sensitive
Cottage cheese will go mouldy quicker.
between mozzarella and cheddar: mozzarella molds faster bt all cheeses: i think blue cheese
probably cream
Moisture does play a great part in cheese preserving, but it also depends on how you are storing it.
Mold requires moisture to thrive. It also requires a specific pH to grow at all. Mozzarella contains more moisture, and is less acidic than cheddar.
it all depends on when the cheese was actually made, and when it was packaged… also if either have been handled improperly or outside of a sanitized environment. if every variable was removed and there was no margin of error, then the pepper jack would most likely mold faster since it contains small pieces of jalapeno.
No. If you leave cheese out in the warm then mold will grow on it in a few hours. Bread on the other hand would take a couple of day. This is wrong! I did a project and grew mold on cheese and it took a week. Maybe the bacteria will start to form but you will not see it with the naked eye. Also it depends on the cheese, i did mozzarella, but if it was a really soft cheese ... maybe. But defiantly cheese will grow mold faster than Bread.
Cream cheese will mould faster than cheddar.
Cheese molds faster in sunlight, if that heats it.
