Journalism 101 if it's offered. Otherwise Communications 101, join the school newspapaer and/or the Yearbook (note: Yearbook is just barely journalism; but it will prepare you for puff pieces).
You should take as many English classes as possible including journalism. Keyboarding could come in handy. Take a television and Photography class as well.
