McCann School of Business and Technology is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. This is not the accreditation that regionally accredited colleges and universities recognize. Unfortunately, I am not aware of any regionally accredited colleges and universities that would honor the coursework or degree from this school. There might be some schools that would evaluate your coursework as life experience, however you you have to research this issue. Just make sure, whichever college or university you choose has a regional accreditation. I have listed below the six regional accrediting agencies and there area of expertise. Make sure the school is accredited by one of them.

· New England Association of Schools and Colleges - Educational institutions in the six New England states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont).
· North Central Association of Colleges and Schools - Educational institutions in Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, New Mexico, South Dakota, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
· Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities - Postsecondary institutions (colleges and universities) in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.
· Western Association of Schools and Colleges - Educational institutions in California, Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa, Micronesia, Palau, and Northern Marianas Islands.
· Southern Association of Colleges and Schools - Educational institutions in Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee and Texas.

There are schools (universities and colleges)that accept McCann School of Business Credits.
They have an articulation agreement with McCann, and you would most likely start as a junior.
Schools that I know accept McCann credits are:
Alvernia University- Main campus in Reading, PA and two satellite campuses in
Pottsville, PA and Philadelphia, PA.
Desales University- Allentown, PA
Slippery Rock University- Slippery Rock, PA
Central Penn. College- Summerdale, PA and now in Bethlehem, PA also.
Cedar Crest College- Allentown, PA
Also...University of Phoenix online and AIU accepts credits.

You can get any type of degree with your SMART credits. However, institutions are NOT required to accept any of these credits. Most Jr. Colleges or Community Colleges will accept many of them, but large universities are less apt to do so. It is best to start at a small college for your associates where more of your credits will be accpepted; then transfer to a university for your bachelor's. Do credits transfer from National College of Business and Technology to Sullivan University in KY?
Typically, regionally accredited colleges and universities do not accept credits from institutions not having a regional accreditation. Sullivan University has a regional accreditation, the National College of Business and Technology does not have a regional accreditation. Thus, most likely the credits will not transfer.

What colleges in Texas will take credits from Everest college?
If you attended Everest College in Phoenix Arizona, there should not be a problem. The other Everest colleges within the US do not appear to have a regional accreditation. Therefore, other regionally accredited colleges and universities will not accept the credits.
What colleges accept military credit?
Yes, credits can be awarded for military experience, especially when a service member attended specialized training/coursework. Still, most colleges can award a least six credits for basic training (such as physical education etc.)
Will Illinois colleges accept Stratified Career Institute diplomas?
The colleges in Illinois do not recognize an actual diploma. They will recognize and give you credit for some of the classes you have completed at other colleges though.
