Additionally, dark may be quite dark if the Italians in question represent a mix of Italian heritage with one of the peoples of the former Italian colonies. The descendants of those former colonies include the heritage of the Orient in Tianjin/Tientsin, China; and of Africa in Eritrea, Ethiopia, Libya, and Somalia.
