I am not sure, but it sounds like your heater core may be leaking. You may be lucky, and only have a hose leak. But most of the time its the core that goes bad and needs fixed or replaced. You may check under your hood and look at the two hoses that go into the fire wall on the right side of the car. If your lucky one may be leaking at the clamp and only need to replace that clamp. But most of the time it will be the heater core in the fire wall that's the problem and need's replaced or fixed. If you need to drive the car before getting it fixed. You can take both the hose's off the core at the fire wall. And connect them both together with a two or three inch pipe and two clamps. This way you can still drive your car until you get time to have it fixed. Be ware though that by placing both hoses together you will not have a heater. Good Luck M.C.S. Passenger's side? Could be a leaking heater core
The most likely culprit is the heater core.. its usually located under the dash on the passenger side.. if it starts leaking you will have water on the passenger side floorboard.. also the radiator fluid will be low.. Another possibility is the drain from the ac is clogged... alowing condenced water from the ac process to dump in the passenger side floorboard.. the heater core and the ac drain are located in the same area...
It could possibly be the heater core Check your heatting and a/c
I BELIEVE THE WATER COULD BE COMING FROM YOUR AIR CONDITIONING .
Passenger side floor? Could be leaking heater core
Possible, but more likely a leaking oil filter or valve cover
Perhaps slave cylinder, line or fitting leaking?
It could be the coolant overflow tank that is leaking.
you could have a heater core leaking or your windshield is leaking and the water is running down behind the dash and onto the floor.
You could have a seal leaking around a door or if you have a sunroof the drain holes might be plugged. Most cases of water leaking into the floorboard would be a plugged ac drain in the evaporater case. If you notice on a hot summer day and your ac is on that if you leave it parked, you will see water on the ground. This is from water draining out of the case, but if the drain becomes plugged it will build up in the case and slosh around and sometimes come into the floorboard.
If it's air conditioned, the condensate drain could have become blocked and spill over into the floorboard.
drain for the air conditioner heater case could be stopped up,or a heater core leaking... !!!!
