What could be the problem when the power windows for your 1999 Chevrolet Silverado works on the drivers side but not the passenger side?

May be the switch in door, test to be sure their is power going to and from when you move switch. If so it is the switch. If you do have power both ways then the wire in the boot in the door could be broken. Only way to tell is to identify the color of the wires to the switch and check the lead (live)wire in the boot. You can pull boot back out of truck frame to access wires, it works like a grommet.

I have been to a local shop for the same problem on my 2003 silverado. It is a worn out sensor, it will have to be replaced. In my case I replaced the seat and seatbelt catch and all the sensors from a wreaked 04 silverado.

Yes, it does have a relay and it is located in the fuse box under the hood on the driver side. If you're looking at it from the front of the truck it will be the black relay box on the left hand side of the fuse box. Should be just fuse and switch
