Yes it could.
Could you tell me how would you replace the oil pump on a Mazda Protege?
It is not a defininte answer. It could be as simple as a thermostat. If the battery light is on, then it could be a broken or slipping belt. it could be a bad water pump. It could also be a blown head gasket. More than likely it is one of the first two. Start with the thermostat.
If a 1999 Mazda Protege keeps making clicking noises, you might have a bad alternator or starter. You could also have a bad ignition or solenoid.
A bad battery terminal(s) connection, bad ground, bad ignition switch, bad starter.
There are a few reasons why a 1994 Mazda Protege won't start, but does crank. A couple of reasons could be the air flow sensor or a problem in the fuel lines.
Clogged radiator, bad water pump, stuck thermostat, non-functioning fan. and may I add lacking of fluids.
My best guess is to just ask you if you have cleaned your air vents and air filters. Then check to make sure your radiator fans a working properly when the engine idles. If the fan blades to not rotate periodically, that could simply be your problem.
No.
