Oh boy, this can be several number of things. The age of the Jeep is a big factor, old jeeps rattle in the rear if the muffler clamps are loose, or there is a leafsprig that had broke. Also I had a jeep that came with shocks insted of leafsprings, the shocks were rotted badly and they were completely useless so the rattle was the rotted worn shock vibrating. Also this is a real numb finding, my sisters jeep had a nasty rattle in back, come to find out it was the tools in the tool box bouncing around. I took out her tool box & the noise was gone.
There are many reasons why the Jeep Liberty will make a strange beeping noise. It could be beeping if the turn signals have been left on or if the emergency brake isn't all the way down.
It could be differential bearings.
Front grinding could be a bad wheel bearing or in the front axle assembly.
Throw-out bearing................
The pads may be worn out. have it checked out.
If it is making a noise like a spark knock, maybe it is a spark knock.
loose bolt possibly, take your jeep to your local mechanic to get it checked out! It can also be dirt in the rear spring. If the jeep has been on a lift and dirt gets in between the leaf springs it can make a popping noise when going around corners. But be safe and check the bolts too.
wheel bearing, tire noise.... could be several things. Find a repair shop that you trust. Most will inspect a noise like that for free/small inspection fee.
The blower motor may be failing or there could be debris caught in the fan.
One of the hookers in the trunk, mabie. Or your past-out drunk buddy.
It may be tire noise that is aggravated by colder weather. Try rotating them and see if that eliminates the noise. I hope this helps you. Mark
Have to determine what is causing noise - could be a bad compressor Have to determine what is causing noise - could be a bad compressor Have to determine what is causing noise - could be a bad compressor
