Best Answer

Poaching isn't done by countries, it's done by persons.

Apart from whaling, there's no known example of a country officially supporting poaching.

Poaching happens pretty much in every country where there is legal hunting.

What refers to the transfer of plants animals and diseases from Europe Africa to and from Americas after Columbus' fateful voyages in 1492?

The Columbian Exchange affected both the New World and the Old World, both positively and negatively. For example, people exchanged knowledge and technical advancements which helped those who did not have that information. But the "exchange" also, unwittingly, transferred diseases, plant diseases, animal diseases, etc. Many countries STILL fight problems of animals and plants that were brought to their countries and overcame plants and animals native to those areas. This is why countries have strict rules about what travelers can bring into their countries.

Why do people poach animals if they are extinct?

They don't. Extinct animals are animals that are all gone, no living ones left. So you can't poach what's not there. But maybe you're wondering why people poach animals that are merely endangered - still hanging on in small numbers. That's simple, either they think that their need - what they can gain from killing that animal - is more important than that species being around in the future. Or they think that one more won't make any difference.
