in the 1881 and the 1914
WW1 started because of 4 MAIN reasons and the spark. 1. Militarism: all the European countries were building their armies and fighting forces and the other countries fellt threatened. 2. Alliance System: alliances were forming (the triple alliance and the triple entente) and the continent was splitting in half. 3. Imperialism: the expansion of one's power, like Britain's power over Canada, many countries were gaining control over other countries. 4. Nationalism: all the countries were very proud of themselves and wanted power. The Spark: In June 1914, Archduke Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary was parading through the country when a Serbian terrorist from the Blue hand shot both the arch duke and dutchess. This caused Austria-Hungary and Serbia to become at war. The alliance system brought all the other countries into WW1 hope that answers your questions. WW1 is an important time in Canada's history so i hope this helps!
world war one started in 1914 and the allies won
The war in 1914, originally called the Great War, was later called a world war as it was fought by more countries and on a larger scale than any war before.

From 1882-1914 the three countries made up the Triple Alliance, but Italy's membership was virtually meaningless.
The countries that were in the alliances in world war one were.. Britain, France and Russia formed the Triple entente. Germany, Italy and Austria - Hungary formed the triple alliance.
No, the Triple Alliance between Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy ended in 1914 with the outbreak of World War I.
triple alliance was the powerfull alliance in 1st world war
It is how WW1 broke out, in August 1914 ;]
The Triple Alliance in 1913, shown in red.The Triple Alliance was the military alliance between Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy, (as opposing the Triple Entente which consisted of an alliance between Britain, France and Russia), that lasted from 1882[1] until the start of World War I in 1914.[
Germany never left the Triple Alliance. The Triple Alliance was destroyed because Italy opted out of the agreement once World War I rolled around. After that, Germany's only ally was Austria-Hungary, as it had been before the Triple Alliance. This alliance is known as the Dual Alliance. Italy remained neutral when World War I broke out in 1914. However, the Italians had a secret military alliance with France ever since 1902, and France was a major enemy of Germany. So you could argue that the Triple Alliance actually crumbled in 1902, but was made public in 1914.
The Triple Alliance (1882) included all three countries. Italy, regarding their "common defense" pact not to apply due to Austrian aggression, did not join Germany and Austria-Hungary in World War I (1914), and actually fought against Austria later in the war.
The war started on July 28 1914, Serbia was in alliance with Russia.improved:and russia, was in alliance with Britain and France. (the triple entente).Germany, austria-Hungary and Italy were also in an alliance (the triple alliance).
The Triple Alliance was comprised of Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy. The alliance lasted from 1884 up until 1914.
The Triple Entente: Britain, France, RussiaThe Triple Alliance: Germany, Austria-Hungary,Italy. (However, Italy's membership was meaningless and Italy fought alongside the Entente from April 1915)The Ottoman Empire, which fought alongside the Central Powers (from September 1914 on, was not a member of either. The US, which entered the war on the side of the Triple Entente was also not a member of either.
