What country caused 9-11?

No single nation can claim to have caused the September 11 terrorist attacks.

The following nations can claim to have resposibility for inciting the hatred of the United States and the money which was necessary to fund it:

1. The United States - its intervention in the Middle East on land regarded as belonging by divine law to Islam led to much anger, even hatred, among Muslims
2. Israel - its establishment as a Jewish State on land regarded by Islamic law as belonging to Muslims has produced immense anger among almost all of the over 100 million Arab people.
3. Saudi Arabia - its puritanical and uncompromising Islam has as an inherent part the tendency to believe that Islam must expand by means of holy struggle or jihad. The discovery of the world's largest oil reserves gave the previously impoverished kingdom a very large source of wealth, which Islamic belief required to be used only to aid Islamic expansion. Hence, despite the official position of Kings Fahd and Abdullah, many very wealthy Saudis strongly supported the use of oil money to kill non-Muslims, who are by their nature legitimate targets according to traditional Islam though having rejected Allah.
4. The USSR and the working classes of Eurasia and the Americas - their general and constant tendency to support Marxism - which if appolied fully would threaten the United States as part of a world revolution and confiscate the wealth of many wealthy capitalists - led the United States to support many repressive regimes to prevent large-scale socialist revolutions.

The most important case of this last factor occurred during and after the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, which was incited by a revolt by Afghanistan's mullahs against the People's Democratic Party of Afghanistan (PDPA) in 1978 and 1979.

The CIA trained people such as Osama bin Laden because of their fanatical opposition to the atheism which is a fundamental part of Marxism, who turned on the US after Stalinism collapsed in the USSR and its satellites, but the US did not recognise until after the 1993 World Trade Center bombing that radical Islam was not its ally.
