To be a plastic surgeon,, you first need to need to go to medicsal school and qualify as a doctor. In the UK this takes about 5 years and medical school.
Worldwide, the elementary subjects are English, Maths, Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics). Then any more your can do, e.g. French , Latin , Geography, History etc.,
At advanced level immediately prior to going into medical school at age of 18 yrs. you must have Biology, Chemistry at the highest possible grades(A*) followed by either Physics, or Maths. at a high grade)A).
The Medical Schools do not take students who need remedial work in any subject; you are expected to be competent in all your school subjects.
Then five years at medical school , before they will let you in front of any patient on your own. Meantime you can specialise in medicine as a plastic surgeon, dermatology(skin) surgeon, or Orthopaedic(Bone and muscle) surgeon
Since a plastic surgeon is a doctor, it would be best to take academically rigorous classes - 4 years of English, 4 years of science, etc. Good luck! Know you chemistry, calculous, and biology. I'm in college right now and those are the most challenging courses that usually weed people out when they wan't to persue medical school. If you don't do well in these classes when you first get into college, it's easy to get discouraged. GO FOR IT!
You need to be enroled in a Pre-Med line of study. Y-THINK-Y
Just follow the "Pre Med" program to meet the requirements of the Medical School you'll be attending.
Science and math are important. Biology & physics will be good preparation for pre-medical classes in college. /brian W
first you take the classes that they assign you but when you get the choice to choose you should take biology and anatomy
Well you need to be able to tell the difference between sergen and surgeon. Also genral and general. That would help if you knew that before you ever tried performing surgery at all. :)

High school classes do not count towards becoming a surgeon. What makes high school important is that you are setting the foundation for getting into a good college for your freshman year. You need to take the college prep classes, keep a good GPA, do some community service, and become involved in your high school in some way. The colleges looks at these factors when students apply. Do well in college and you can apply to medical school to become the surgeon you want to be.
12 plus years of college/medical school.
To become a plastic surgeon you need to get good grades in high school and college. mostly As and Bs dont get lower than a C or B-.
High school level classes to prepare for college
In high school you don't take classes to help you become a brain surgeon, but you do need to have a good GPA, good test scores, college prep or AP classes. Some universities also require community service and school activities. Set your goal, take plenty of science classes, learn how to do research papers, and study hard.
This depends on what classes your school is offering and what school you go to.
