Overfilling your Transmission Fluid can cause pressure which forces the parts in the transmission apart. This can cause gears, or bands to be pushed out of location, extra wear and damage. You can drain extra fluid off your transmission by using the plug on the bottom of the transmission. The fluid can be aerated from contact with the rotating parts. Aerated fluid in can cause slippage, lack of lubrication, and leaks. All of which can cause a major failure.
How do fill the trans fuild on a 2011 hyundai tucson

Synchromesh transmisssion fuild is what is recomened. Do not use Atf in those trans!
It can seriously damage the crankshaft main seals, and depending on how MUCH overfilled, it can damage other parts as well.
Possable transmission overheating and/or a plugged vent, or just overfilled. Allways check level when hot.
Refer to your owners manual. Don't think this requires additional trans fuild. The transmission is designed that way.
How much overfilled is it? damage to the crank case may occur. I suggest draining the oil to the proper level immedietly.
You could damage a dishwasher basket by filling it with too many things, which will stretch it. If you have overfilled your dishwasher basket, you need to buy another one.
I own a 2003 Chevy cav, with on dip stick, you can not add trans fuild, you must take it to a shop that works on that kind of car.
Transmission overfilled ? so when the transmission fluid is heated up it expands and comes out the vent tube Have you been driving through water ? Got water in transmission so its overfilled , resulting in transmission fluid coming out of vent tube
transmission down shift after fuild change
Drain out the excess oil and hope you did no damage. Unless you overfilled it by more than 1 quart you more than likely did not damage at all.
