What did the First Amendment of the constitution accomplish?

The First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America did not accomplish anything. The First Amendment is part of the Bill of Rights which in turn is a part of the Constitut9ional Amendments that are a part of the Constitution of the United States of America. The document as a whole is evidence of great accomplishment, but it is not the document itself that has made that accomplishment. The accomplishment was made by people who fought, lived and died to protect their freedom. The Constitution of the United States is one of the outcomes of the fight for freedom. Of those freedoms that people have fought for and continue to do so today, the right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness remain fundamental rights not enumerated within the Bill of Rights or any subsequent Amendment and that they are not enumerated yet accepted as basic fundamental rights of people gives meaning to the Ninth Amendment. What the First Amendment does is enumerate certain rights and prohibits any government body under the Constitution from trespassing upon those rights. The First Amendment states: Congress shall make no laws respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people to peaceably assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. It is clear that the government bodies sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America are prohibited from establishing or endorsing a national or several national religions, that the government bodies that exist because of the Constitution are forbidden to prohibit speech, or the press and can not prevent the people from assembling peaceably to keep a vigilant eye upon the governmental bodies they have entrusted to govern. Whatever accomplishment made by our forefathers, it is the accomplishments we as individuals, we as people, make today, that define the accomplishment of the First Amendment or any subsequent amendment. What good is a written assertion of right when the government entrusted to protect that right instead deems it necessary to trample that right? If it were actually the First Amendment that accomplished these rights then would American churches of all denominations be clamoring to the Internal Revenue Service begging for a tax exempt status? What in God's name makes churches subject to the jurisdiction of the Internal Revenue Service to begin with that these churches would apply for tax exempt status. If Congress can make no laws establishing religion then how is it the IRS has become the administrative agency that decides which religions are legitimate and which are not? If a church does not enjoy the recognition of the IRS does that make that church an illegal and illigitimate church? In light of the First Amendment, how would that be possible? And, yet it is. How is it possible that the IRS can prohibit the speech of religious leaders, denying them the right to preach politics upon the pulpit. Where did the IRS find that authority? Certainly not from the Constitution. If Congress can make no laws abridging the freedom of speech or of the press then how does the Federal Communications Commission find its authority to regulate all sorts of speech? If the people have the right to peaceably assemble then why are they increasingly being corralled into "free speech zones" where they are pushed inside makeshift gulags and marginalized in the name of "Law and Order"? The rights enumerated by the First Amendment are as valid as those individuals willing to stand tall and fight for their validity. When the freedom to freely exercise religion is compromised in order to obtain a tax exemption not even needed to begin with, when the freedom of speech is willingly subjected to administrative agencies who have no Constitutional authority beyond what Congress has given them, when the freedom to peaceably assemble means standing inside a cramped and crowded area cordoned off by chain link fence, just what exactly has been accomplished?
