After he died, his head of Propaganda, Joseph Goebbels became the new Fuehrer due to an order given by Hitler. He later committed suicide. After he did, I'm not sure who took his place, I know somebody did. It might've been Herman Goring or Karl Donitz. Then one of them finally surrendered to the Allies. Or maybe Goebbels did. You should do your own research, I believe websites like this aren't very good at topics from the past. Mark Felton on YouTube is a good source of information.

Germany surrendered and the Nazi party was removed from power. The nation of Germany was split into two (East and West) with East Germany under soviet control until the fall of the Berlin Wall and West Germany under the control of the non-communist allies. Hitler himself was apparently cremated and his ashes disposed of in a sewer drain per folk lore. No definitive documentation has been found concerning the disposal of his remains. Eva Braun was buried. Key Nazi party members were tried for War Crimes with most of the German military treated as normal soldiers per the normal terms of war. German soldiers were left to sort out the relationship with the Nazi party and the loss of the war. This has left Germany very sensitive in regards to WWII, especially their veterans.

Very soon after Hitler's suicide, Germany surrendered unconditionally and the Allies took over the running of Germany. For about 3-4 weeks Admiral Doenitz was nominally in charge, but under Allied supervision.

Nazi generals were put on trial at the Nuremberg trials which followed the war. The average citizen left alive after the war was subject to de-Naizification to "unlearn" what had been learned. A lot of it depended on what sector, or zone you lived in. For example, if you lived in the Soviet zone you may be subjected to a great deal of persecution. If you lived in the American or British zones you will most likely be subjected to a much kinder form of re-eduacation.

Hitler lost his mind near the end of the war...

He dirrected armies that no longer excisted from his bunker under the reichstag (Berlin). He and Eva Braun took a cyanide pill, and Hitler also shot himself.

There bodies were burned by the SS, and disposed off to prevent humitiation by the enemy.

Actually, the war didn't end, Admiral Donitz seiced control, and the reichstag was defended by the "folkstrum" (children no older then 14) unbtill the Russians stormed the building...

Many were killed out of hand, some were tried at Nuremburg, a few got away to South America or Spain & some simply became citizens of Germany after the war. Many of the SS, the Waffen SS were recruited from Eastern Europe. Exact numbers would be difficult to substantiate. ____ It depends on what one means by Nazi. At the end of World War 2 about 10% of the adult population of Germany were party members. Usually they got denazification certificates quite easily after World War 2, and in fact the certificates, especially in the American zone were gleefully nicknamed Persilscheine - Persil coupons in English. Many of the really big fish were tried or fled to Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil. Some, of course committed suicide, for example Hitler, Himmler, Goebbels and at a lower level, Odilo Globocnik. If the questioner is referring mainly to people who were suspected of or had committed atrocities (war crimes and the like), the Allies' promise to bring them to justice was never really fulfilled ... In 1942-44 the concentration camps and extermination camps had about 50,000-55,000 personnel (including Capos). About 2,000 of these people were put on trial, but most went home, in some cases changed their names and 'lived happily ever after'.

Adolf Hitler committed suicide on April 30, 1945, just ten days after his 56th birthday, and only a day after marrying his long-time girlfriend, Eva Braun. She took her own life at the same time. It is believed that Eva Braun died by potassium cyanide ingestion. It is believed that Hitler crushed a cyanide capsule between his teeth and shot himself in the head with a pistol at the same time.

Within days, the Nazi government essentially fell apart. Hitler's demise coincided with the fall of key figures like Himmler and Goering, the death of Goebbels, and the disappearance of Bormann and many others. Berlin was quickly and brutally captured by the Soviets. The Allies found themselves in near total control of Germany.

Nazi German forces surrendered in stages throughout the first week of May, 1945.
