depends bumper to bumper you will to do the following.change oil and oil filter.Transmission Fluid and filter, air filter new spark plugs new pcv valve new fuel filter.flush radiator.empty brake and Power Steering resvior and put new.and that should do unless you have a really abused engine....alright.
The flashers are part of the directional stalk. This is for all 1995 - 1997 Lincoln Continentals.
In a 1997 Lincoln Continental : To the right of your headlight switch in the dash is a ( panel dim ) switch I believe if that is turned all the way up then the interior lights will come on
check the fuses and the flasher.

If its the same as the mark viii then you would have to replace the bulb by removing the light that is held in with 4 or 5 screws then you can take out all wires and bulbs you need to.
