they eat chopped earth worms or frozen, blood worms and newt food which u can buy at probably any pet store i know this cause i have one!! lol

i don't know why you would want to eat a newt, but no you cannot eat them. Fire belly newts are highly poisonous if ingested and will put you in the hospital.
