A dragons color can refer to its habitat. Say if it was a forest dragon, its color would most likely be green. If it is one if those colorful dragons their colors do not have a meaning to it. Then again...it might have an element to it...fire=red...ice=light blue etc.. I hope That I Have Helped

A dragon's colour does sometimes depend on it's habbitat. for example a polar bear is white to camoflage itself into it's habbitat. dragons are big predators like tigers and lions so they use there colours to camoflage. like the frost dragon, the grogyle, knucker, lindworm and the eropean dragon. they also have diffrent colours to tell them apart fro each other, there are many reasons what their colours mean. dragons dont really have elements they all pretty much breathe fire expect the frost dragon which breathe frosty blast and fire.
