First of all, you confront the (no offense) jerk. You tell him exactly how you feel , and you try to talk it out . If that doesn't work try couples therapy. Still if this doesn't work, maybe the two of you should separate for a while. Then maybe he will realize that what he had was good and he was lucky to have you. Then he will come running back. However, if this is not the case and that doesn't work - then the unevitable big D might be the only solution. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, I wish you the best of the luck in the future.

It all depends on how you found out about your spouse cheating. If he admitted it to you without being coaxed for the information then he realized he made a bad mistake and is in love with you. If you caught him cheating then you will never know for sure what he is thinking or if he may feel trapped in the marriage. Marriage counseling should be involved so both of you learn the tools to a healthy relationship and communication on both your parts is extremely important. Only time will tell and you are going to have to trust him a little in order for your relationship to work out. Communicate and seek marriage counseling.
