"Why, Doctor Charlie, should I get my newly sixteen year old boyfriend a pair of pants for his birthday?" you're most likely screaming right now.
For many reasons but above all -- He wants them off. (his pants).
IF you get him pants for his birthday it will send a message. THat you don't want that in your young relationship right now and you want to go to the movies instead.
