"Allah" is the Arabic word for God.

Muslims, or followers of the Islamic faith, regard Muhammad (Mohammed) of Mecca as the prophet of Allah; and they regard Muhammad's writings in the Koran or Quran as the revelation of Allah. Muslims regard Jesus, Moses, Abraham and others only as predecessors to Muhammad.

Christians do not regard Muhammad as a prophet, nor do they regard Jesus of Nazareth as only a prophet. Christians believe that Jesus is the Messiah or Christ, a divinely sent deliverer of mankind. He is both Man and God.

The Jews don't regard Jesus in any way as he is completely irrelevant to their beliefs.

Christians worship one God, but they believe that God is expressed in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son (who became incarnate as Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit (also called the Comforter or the Paraclete). This trinity of Persons -- the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit -- is nonetheless one God, not three.

The faith of Christians worldwide is expressed in three great creeds -- the Apostles' Creed, the Nicaean Creed, and the Athanasian Creed. These creeds are held by Protestants, Roman Catholics, and Eastern Orthodox Christians alike.

The beliefs Christianity, however, are based on the Bible, which is composed of the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament are based on ancient Hebrew or Judaic writings, including the Torah, the Prophets, and the Wisdom Books. The New Testament consists of the four Gospels (4 different accounts of the life, sayings, works, death, and resurrection of Jesus); plus a narrative about the fathers of the Church (the Acts of the Apostles); as well as numerous pastoral letters ("epistles") written by the earliest apostles of Jesus (Paul of Tarsus, Peter, John, and others) and addressed to the first Christian churches. Christians also refer to God as "the LORD." Neither Jews or Muslims consider the Christian Bible to be a valid religious text within their own religions.

Jews also worship a single God. He spoke to the ancient prophet Moses, who led the Hebrews out of slavery in ancient Egypt to their promised land, Canaan or Israel. At a time when many peoples and tribes worshiped numerous gods (a practice called polytheism), the Jews believed strongly in a single, all-powerful, and all-knowing G-d without form. He is called HaShem (The Name) in daily conversation. However, His true name and all of the titles used to refer to Him in the Tanach (Jewish Bible) are considered holy and none were ever used in daily conversation, only in prayer.

In the faith of Judaism, Muhammad is not considered a prophet -- that is, as a divine messenger of God. There are two approaches to Jesus in Judaism, the first is that he wasn't an actual person, but a composite character based on a number of different men from the period, the other is that he was a false prophet at most. The Jews regard Moses as the greatest prophet, but they do not consider him in any way divine. He is one of many great men of God such as Abraham, Isaac, and Joseph before him. The holy texts of the Jews are called the Tanach -- Torah (Teachings), Nevi'im (Prophets), and K'tuvim (Writings). Part of the Jewish Talmud interprets and extrapolates upon the Torah. Judaism sees Islam as truly monotheistic and that Muslims worship the same G-d as Jews do.
