I would like to Know of any recalls on a 1994 dodge dakota?
It is on the passenger side of the firewall. There's like a sheild infront of it only sticks out about an inch.
There are several used car websites like Autotrader.com. You can even find dodge dealers online where you can find your Dodge Dakota.
on top of your valve cover on the passenger side of pick up should be white and look like an L. It just pulls out there is really no need to replace it you can clean it with WD 40
in my 1991 dodge Dakota i am gettin 15 on highway and like 12 in city..
try cleaning the air idle control valve
First off PVC is a pipe... the correct term would be PCV. Your PCV valve should be on the driver side valve cover. All you have to do is pop it off carefully & replace it with the new valve. Just bought one for a 1987 Dakota 3.9V6 was only like $15.00.
the pcv valve is on the ight hand or drivers side of the valve cover with a rubberhose connected to it it is shaped like a nut or bolt head so u can tighten it it just a plastic check valve. there like $6 at dodge. If it is a SOHC answer could be here. http://www.techknowman.com/Dodge%20Neon/Dodge%20Neon.htm
Is it hard to keep running sometimes when you try to restart it ???? It sounds like the idle air control valve. That's what the problem with my '97 was.
I needed one for a 1991 Dodge Dakota. I ended up at the library where they have a whole slew of Chiltons manuals. I found it. You can get the diagram from there.
go buy a reference manual
It is important to know what the warning lights look like on a car. The oil light on a 2003 dodge neon looks like a small oil can.
