The fuel pump relay on a 1988 Mercedes 560sl is located on the driver's side firewall inside the engine compartment. If a person notes the side of the air cleaner and follows this line back to the firewall, the fuel pump relay is located there.
High retail for that vehicle would be aprox $26,500 according to NADA Guides.
Almost always the monovalve or circulating pump.
It is located on the left side of the transmission right next to the shift lever just above the oil pan. There will be a small vacuum line coming off of it.
under sterring column remove the 2 covers you will see 3 nuts and linkage remove and pull motor out from engine bay
1074601901 gearbox goes on all 107 chassis, except 560SL. 1074602001 goes on 560SL.
