It stands for "heart for heart;" where one player hearts (similar to subscribing or favoriting) another player or his/her levels, and in exchange the other player does the same. It is commonly frowned upon by many as promoting spam and defeating the purpose of the game.

Those who are in favor of H4H enjoy the benefits of receiving hearts from the people who simply just play their level and heart it.Those who are against H4H fiercely argue that people should earn their own hearts and not have people heart it just for playing it. This movement has been very evident in the last few months of LBP as people have created entire levels, clans, and threads against H4H.Although most people H4H, many argue that hearts should only be given if the level is really good. It all depends on how you view H4H.

Help for Heroes (H4H) was founded by Bryn and Emma Parry after a profoundly moving visit to Selly Oak Hospital in the summer of 2007. Bryn and Emma met some extraordinarily brave young people who had been badly wounded and they just wanted to do something to help.
