Your question is pretty vague, but my first guess would be a UTI - urinary tract infection. More info about yourself would be helpful (age, gender, sexually active or not, Birth Control, any other medications, etc.).
If you have a UTI you'll feel a painful burning when you try to urinate, and your lower back may be sore. I've had 3 UTI's throughout my life. The first time I went and saw a doc, got some antibiotics or something; it worked but it was waste of time and money! The second and third times I had one, I cured myself at home by drinking a few beers every night for 2-3 nights in a row. It helps because it makes you pee a lot, and the burning is a lot easier to deal with when you're drunk. Remember to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. Honestly I dont know exactly why or how the booze worked, but it did!
Anyway, do some research on UTI's, and if the symptoms match up to how you're feeling, try to find a home remedy that works for you. Definitely not worth seeing a doctor unless you think it might be more serious than a common UTI. If you can't urinate after 48 hours THEN you should see a doc. Good luck!
If you urinate and it hurts for one day, this could mean that you have a UTI. It may also mean that you were dehydrated. See a doctor to confirm a diagnosis.

Your back hurts.
You could have strained or pulled a muscle.
It is hard to say, it could be appendicitis, or a number of things.
