I have had to replace the heating control valve on a few fiestas, it is very common. It can be found on the bulk-head of engine bay just below wiper mechanism. Its got a plug on the side and two pipes in and out the other side. They are roughly £17 from Ford dealers, I would not advise getting one from a scrappy, cos the ones I've had from good scrappies tend not to last very long and were only a few quid cheaper than new one. They are really easy to replace, only tool you will need is mole grips to squeeze the rings around each pipe. Do it when the engine is cold.
Hope this helps

more than likely it`s the heater control valve(HCV) that needs replacing
how is it my heater control on my ford fiesta flight 1998 only works on no. 4
The heater control valve can stick open or closed, as it is operated by an electrical solenoid. Clean old valve, or a new one. Located under bonnet, near bulkhead

The blower motor, on a Ford fiesta, can be located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The blower motor will be on the passenger side of the firewall.

Replace {Thermostat}, It is in a closed posistion and is unable to open. Another cause as with the Futura (1.3 Fiesta year 2000) is a valve between the heater and engine, the Thermostat shows normal operating therefore replacement is not needed.
