THEY DONT SAY JESUS DIED. THEY SAY A MAN WHO LOOKS ALIKES TO JESUS TOOK HIS PLACE IN BED AND THEN THE CATHOLICS KILLED THE FAKE JESUS. JESUS A.K.A ESA WAS THEN TAKEN TO HEAVEN AS A WHOLE PERSON, NOT A SOUL. THEN THATS WHY THERE IS THE SECOND COMING OF HIM IN ORDER FOR HIM TO BE A SOUL IN HEAVEN HE MUST DIE.

Jesus of Islam did not die. Quran says Allah saved Jesus from dying and took directly to heaven. This Jesus of Islam is different from the Jesus of The Bible. Jesus of the Bible died for the sins of others as prophesied by the Jewish prophets of God (Jehovah). Three days after the death of Jesus, He appeared to His disciples proving that He is resurrected from dead.

Surah 04:157 in the Quran says of Jesus on the cross: "They did not kill him and they did not crucify him, but it was made to seem so to them."

In other words, the suffering Jesus was in some way only an apparition, and the real Jesus would appear, unharmed, to his disciples on the following Sunday. The notion that it was only made to seem that Jesus was on the cross came to the Muslims from the Docetists, who were an early Christian Gnostic sect.

Answer A

According to Islam Jesus did not die. Allah deceived people as Allah is the greatest deceiver/planner to make people think that Jesus died (Surah 3:54, 4:157-158).

Surah 3:54 says in Arabic "Wamakarro wamakara Allahu waAllahu khayru almakireena" which is correctly translated as: And they deceived and Allah deceived , and Allah (is) the best (of) the deceivers. Here Allah refers himself as "Khayrul-Makereen" which correctly translated means "Allah is the greatest of all deceivers." This can be verified by looking at the root letters (Meem, Kaaf, and Rah) in an Arabic dictionary (like Al-Mawrid).

Please read the testimony of Abu Bakr about the deceptive character of Allah taken from the "Successors of the Messenger" by Khalid Muhammad Khalid, p.70.

"...I would not feel safe from the deception (same Arabic word) of Allah")

Answer B (Hints on Answer A above)
  • The greatest deceiver is never an attribute or name of Allah (God in English). Allah is the same God of the other God religions Christianity and Judaism. Even in Arabic versions of the Bible God is written as Allah.
  • Surah 3:54 referred to above never says deceiver. Quran says in English in Surah 3:54 "And the disbelievers conspired (to kill Eisa), and Allah covertly planned to destroy them; and Allah is the best of secret planners. (54) . Eisa is the Arabic name for Jesus and all Arab Christians call Jesus by Eisa.
  • Surah 4:157-158 as well as 4:159 never says that Allah is the greatest deceiver or even planner. Quran says: "And because they (the Jews) disbelieved and slandered Maryam (the Virgin Mary) with a tremendous accusation. (156) And because they said, "We have killed the Messiah, Eisa (Jesus) the son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allah"; they did not slay him nor did they crucify him, but a look-alike was created for them; and those who disagree concerning it are in doubt about it; they know nothing of it, except the following of assumptions; and without doubt, they did not kill him. (157) In fact Allah raised him towards Himself; and Allah is Almighty, Wise. (158) There is not one of the People given the Book(s), who will not believe in him (Eisa or Jesus) before his death; and on the Day of Resurrection he will be a witness against them. (159)"
  • The answer to the question is already mentioned in Quran, Surah 4:157-158 that says Jesus was neither killed nor crucified but his likeness was thrown on the Jew who betrayed Jesus and was the crucified one but Jesus (peace be upon him) was raised up to the Heavens by the the All-Mighty All-Wise God.

Muslims believe that Jesus was not crucified and that his likeness was put, by the power the all-Mighty God, on some one else who was crucified instead of Jesus. Jesus was raised bodily to Heavens.

What does the Gospel say about the reasons for the crucifixion of Jesus?

A:The gospels all say that the religious authorities were opposed to Jesus. In the synoptic gospels (Matthew, Mark and Luke), the trigger that led to the arrest and crucifixion of Jesus was the 'cleansing of the temple', in which he overturned the tables of the moneychangers and those that sold sacrifices. For theological reasons, John moves this episode to the very beginning of the mission of Jesus, so in this gospel the trigger for the arrest and crucifixion of Jesus was the resurrection of Lazarus.

Is there a movie depicting the life of Jesus from the Garden of Eden through His crucifixion?

The Garden of Eden is where the first man and woman, Adam and Eve, lived after their creation. There is no movie depicting the life of Jesus from the Garden of Eden through his crucifixion. But if you mean to ask from the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed before arrested until crucifixion, I would say Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ".
