A problem has been detected with the Antilock Brake System
It could be a fuse , a sensor , or some other problem
As long as the red " BRAKE " light is not on in your dash , you still have
" normal " brakes
check your abs fuse.
An ABS fault.
It means there is a problem with the ABS. Seek professional help.

I have a 98 dodge Dakota and my Abs light has been on for about 6 months. I read in the manual that if that happens you no longer have Abs brakes.Its probably the same for your vehicle.
You most likely do have rear wheel ABS. The system has deteced a malfunction and set a code.

Bring to a shop that has an ABS scanner
The Engine light means Check Engine, the gaslight means low gas, and the oil can means the oil is low. The ABS light means there is a problem with the ABS system, the BRAKE light means the emergency brake is on, and the seat belt light means the driver is not buckled.
Wheel sensor or abs system leak
I have a 98 Windstar with the same problem. According to my mechanic, it's the ABS controle module. It seems to be a common problem with these vans. Unfortunately, the module costs $1300. I am trying to find a used one, if I do and it fixes the problem, I'll let you know
