Look in the Volvo car brochure.
Look by the balancer.
The best way to get an accurate answer for the crankshaft timing on a Reanult Clio Diesel 1991 is to look in the service manuel. That should tell exactly how to set the timing.
The first place I would look would be the crankshaft position sensor
if it has a v6 it's behind crankshaft pulley,if its a 4 cyl.in the block
A crankcase would be the lower portion of an engine block that houses the crankshaft.
should be right around the crankshaft. Look for a plug into something around the crankshaft.
JUST HAD A LOOK IN MY VAUXHALL VECTRA.C MANUAL.NO SENSOR ON THE CRANKSHAFT..
Look at the crankshaft pulley, it is right there.
Looking at the engine from the front of the vehicle, find the crankshaft pulley, it should be below the fan pulley (toward the ground). There is a small mark on the crankshaft pulley. Also mounted on the engine the is a piece of metal that looks like teeth kinda looks something like this - ---vvvvvvvvvv/\vvv--- Those are your timing marks. Each tooth is one degree and the larger concave space is TDC of the compression stroke for the #1 cylinder
You cannot see the crankshaft without dissembling the engine. It is located inside the engine, lower part of the engine block. Pistons and connecting rods are bolted to the crankshaft.
No such thing. Expedition came out in 97.
