To get into such a course, one needs very high achievement in English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at school. A Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree is a five year course in most universities. Veterinary Science is currently offered at the University of Tasmania, and it costs close to $10,000 per year of study.
