Your 1996 Chevrolet Blazer may not start due to a faulty ignition switch. The electronic fuel pump may also be faulty and need to be changed.

Can start car with screwdriver on starter changed starter still will not start with key?

Either your starter solenoid, if not check the neutral safety or clutch safety switch.

What if you changed the starter but you are still getting a clicking sound when you try to start your 1997 neonit has a remote starter system could that be it?

Check the battery, battery cables, keyswitch, neutral lockout switch... your old starter may be just fine (sorry to say) or the new starter may have a problem. There are too many unknowns to be able to tell you anything definitive.

I have replaced the starter on my 1991 S10 but it still won't start could it be a problem with the crank sensor?

Then why did you replace a perfectly good starter? ALWAYS test old parts and know what you're doing BEFORE you start throwing new parts at a problem. Find out WHY it isn't starting. Does the starter engage and turn the engine? IF it does, then the starter is probably fine. If not, check the starter, battery, electrical connections, ignition switch and neutral safety switch. If the starter has ALWAYS engaged and turned the engine, you should not have changed the starter in the first place; instead, you should be finding out what's wrong.

95 Altima starts in neutral and then was able to start in park so is it problem with starter or more?

It sounds like the neutral safety switch is defective or needs adjusting.

I just Changed the starter and it just clicks when you try start it What is the matter?

The alternator might be the problem.

Why doesnt the engine turn Starter has been changed and battery tested?

Seized engine? Loose or cooroded battery terminal Bad starter solenoid? Bad neutral or clutch safety switch?

You have changed the clutch on your 95 escort and you still have to pop the clutch to start it?

The problem may be with your starter and not with the clutch.

Your 2000 E150 Will not start but if you Jumper the starter solenoid it starts right up with the key in the on position Replaced the solenoid but the problem persists Any suggestions?

The problem is almost definitely your neutral safety switch. When you jump the solenoid you are bypassing it. The problem is your starter is going and needs replacement

What causes a fuse to the starter to break I have changed a couple of fuses. Now the care will not start. 2000 Dodge stratus?

The reason it blows out is because the starter shorts out the circuit. Replaceing the starter solves the problem

Toyota intermittent starter problem changed battery changed starter x 2 changed ignition switch with no help continues to intermittently not start please help?

Check all wires for loose or corroded fittings. A loose or corroded connection can work one day and not the next. My first guess would be the wire to the starter solenoid is loose.

Why won't the 1995 cadillac sedan de ville start the starter has tested fine someone came to check the car and put it into neutral position and it started right up what could the problem?

the neutral safety switch is faulty, its on the transmission. IS thre a Safety Neutral Switch on a 95 LHS and is it on the Tranny as well? As I am getting spark and changed the coil, relays, fuses. plugs, wires, etc.. help please....
