The Spanish eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, sea food, chicken, pork and beef in that order. They also use rice and chick peas. What differs from one region to another is the way they put them together. Their main spices are salt, black pepper corns, pimenton ( a sweet Spanish Paprika), bay leaves, parsley, garlic, and onions. The food is quite tasty, very economical, and not at all spicy hot.
mainly things like paella and sea foods like fish and prawns and that sort of thing
