Goiter may be associated with a deficiency of iodine, but fruit is not the best type of food from which to obtain iodine; you should be eating more fish. You can also use iodized salt instead, if you don't want to eat fish.

Also note that your goiter, if it has not been examined by a doctor, might have a different cause than iodine deficiency. It could also be a tumor, for example. So it is a good idea to have it examined.
