As a standard, any front wheel drive car uses ATF lubricant or better known as Automatic Transmission Fluid to lubricate it's gearbox, you can recognise it by its colour witch is deep red, an Opel/vauxhall corsa/astra 1.7d/1.7di/1.7dti/1.7cdti uses ATF II, you can normally get this at any gas station and/or car spare shop, if you are not good with technical stuff its recommended that you take your car to the nearest GM service station to get the "cranny" filled up as filling is quit tricky. over filling will cause to much preasure on the gaskets/seals witch means that the gearbox will blow a gasket, oil will start leaking from the area where the gasket is damaged, evetually the gearbox will leak so much oil that the gearbox will run dry damaging the scyncro mesh, selectors, links and gears to such an extent that youd have to replace the gearbox witch can be a costly matter!
NO! 17 wheels do NOT fit a corsa
Put the car on axle stands remove the lower engine cover, the drain plug for the gearbox is located at n/s/f at the bottom of the gearbox you will need a 8mm square key which you can buy many car parts stores for £3.remove the drain plug to drain the oil and clean the drain plug and put it back on after the oil is drained then remove the air box and remove the gearbox breather cap fill it up slowly and clean any spills on the gearbox as the oil will smell horrrible. the Peugeot 407 will take 2.6l of gearbox oil which you can buy from many car parts stores for around £17 job done. hope this may help
17" will fit!! =)
Fit the correct wheels for the car !
it depend,s on what kind of tires you want on your car? if you contact your local hal-ford,s they will give you a correct size as they have a tyre and alloy guide on there system. on my 2001 corsa b i have 205/40/17 yet they do suggest that you have 15,s on the corsa b unless they are low profiles which mine are. hope this helps!!1 yeah i recently bought a corsa b and mine has 17 inch alloys on it but i have low prfile tyres and these are just about the right size. i would not suggest any bigger that 17 inch but i do advise 17 or 16 inch because they just look so much better
yes, i use them on my 17-1/2 hp briggs,
what is the oil, gas mixture weedwacker 17"/ 25 cc and what grade oil do you use. 3 oz`s of two cycle motor oil, per one gallon of gas. or 40:1
i use 17 mm for oil pan drain plug,i have odyssey '05,i think that years it the same
It is a metric size. Crawl under the vehicle and try different sizes. Start with a 17 mm. Use a 15 mm i just changed my oil its a 13mm no doubt
With oil/filter change use 4.5 quarts of SAE 5w-20 conventional or synthetic oil, your choice. Tighten the drain plug to 17 ft/lbs of torque.
17 million barrels of oil is 714,000,000 US gallons. Each barrel contains 42 US gallons.
Yes, and I highly recommend you use synthetic in any air cooled engine. Use SAE 10W30 or SAE 30 weight.
