In extreme cases, your eyesight will become poorer and your skin will lose some of its hue.
However, many foods other than carrots have carotine (sp?) in them, and if you have enough of those foods in moderation, nothing will really happen.
I would advise you to look up some foods that have carotine in them, so that none of these symptoms occur.
