The alternator,or starter might need replacing,or the battery might be dead.
It would be best to purchase a book from a local automotive store. A lot of online information and diagrams are either wrong or "universal". The books are cheap and correct.
may just be a fuse. I had this happen to me in my 2000 leganza. It was in the fuse bux under the hood. On the inside of the cover look for the fuse labeled DIS. It's a 10 or 20 amp that controls the ignition pack. It has blown twice on me so if that's it buy extra fuses to keep in the car.
Engine will misfire, or may not start if enough wires are in the wrong place.
Engine won't start
Well a shaky steering wheel might be because of the weights on your tires are either missing or one of the weights is the wrong one (there are small weights attached to the rims of each tire, they vary in weight depending on what is needed to balance the tire). Another possible reason could be your engine is running very rough and the holdings aren't enough to make it stable or they may be loose.
Engine wear and damage can occur.
The engine , if it runs at all , will , of course , have misfires and may have a 'backfire' .
Depending on the wrong oil used it could shorten the life expectancy of the engine. We need more details.
> Err..not too long > Few make it past 100k miles if that. > But I see most of them having engine failure from about 50k-80k > If you make it past 100k with one on original motor I suggest playing the lottery because you have pretty good luck. > If you already have made the mistake of buying one of these I suggest changing the timing belt and fluids alot. > If not, a wiser choice would be a older Japanese or American car. Whoever wrote this answer is an idiot. I have a Daewoo Leganza and it is way past 100k miles.. Its got 155,000 miles on it, and all I had to do was change the timing belt (at 55,000 miles, the recommended time). It still runs perfectly, the only thing wrong with them is the brake switch behind the pedal might need to be replaced and the tappet cover leaks until you put some sealant around it.
On an interference engine you can have internal engine damage when you attempt to start it. On a noninterference engine it may not start or it may backfire, or miss, if it does start.
depends on the wrong fuel you put in it. There are a lot of different fuels. In general, if you put the wrong fuel in the engine, if its a higher octane it will over rev and blow up. If its a lower octane, it will puddle and flood the system.
