nuclear fusion is a type nuclear reaction in which 2 or more atoms combine to form heavier atom .
The sun shines because some of the nuclear energy is transformed into radiant energy. Enormous compression due to gravity and extremely high temperatures in the deep interior of the Sun fuse the nuclei of hydrogen atoms together to form helium nuclei. This is called thermonuclear fusion (a process that releases radiant energy, a small part of which reaches Earth).
because of hydrogen present in atmosphere.
It's called nuclear fusion. It happens when the temperature is so high, the protons of the atoms in the sun get so agitated, they escape the atoms and they combine, or fuse, because the attractive nuclear force is greater than the repulsive electrostatic force. When they fuse, they release a positron and a neutrino. The resulting product is a hydrogen atom. When a hydrogen atom and a proton fuse together because of the immense heat in the sun, they release a gamma ray, and the next product is a helium isotope with one neutron. Now this reaction occurs like crazy in the sun, so there are lots of helium isotopes after this reaction. When two of these helium isotopes fuse, they release two protons, and the resulting product is a helium atom. This whole thing cycles again and again until the hydrogen atoms run out, and the only thing left is the helium atoms. So the sun fuses helium atoms, then it ultimately either burns out, explodes, or explodes and becomes a black hole. The reason why radiation from the sun exists is because of the gamma rays produces in this cycle. The reason why the sun gives off so much energy is that the ratio of atomic mass to mass number is lower the heavier the nucleus is, which is called a mass defect. So when lighter nuclei fuse into heavier nuclei, some mass is lost. And because of E=mc squared, we know that small amounts of mass can be exchanged with high amounts of energy. So the little mass lost in the mass defect fusion process is converted into high amaounts of energy. Hope I helped, ajonelag
The sun does not create more hydrogen. On apex, the answer is: It creates more hydrogen.
This is called nuclear fusion, meaning that the nuclei of the atoms fuse to form a new nucleus (with a different number of protons and neutrons). So a totally different element is the result of the fusion. Also, energy is usually released in the process, which could be in the form of wave emission or particles ejected at high speeds.
They ionize (into plasma).
They are fused into helium and create energy. But it takes 4 hydrogen atoms to make 1 atom of helium. The Hydrogen is first converted to Deuterium (heavy hydrogen), and the two deuterium atoms fuse to make the Helium atom. This process releases a lot of energy, not the least because of the neutrons released. Lol
I'm guessing here, but I think you are asking about nuclear fusion. in that case, what happens when a hydrogen atom hits a helium atom? Not much. Fusion would require two hydrogen atoms. What would happen when two hydrogen nuclei hit together? If the pressure and temperature were high enough, the two hydrogen nuclei would fuse, creating an atom of helium, along with a high explosive force and an extremely high release of heat.
We get hydrogen peroxide, with chemical formula H2O2. Each molecule consists of two hydrogen and two oxygen atoms. Hydrogen peroxide is a colourless liquid at room temperature and decomposes at high temperatures to water and oxygen gas.
the compounds are: 9 atoms of carbon 14 atoms of hydrogen (thats alot!) and 5 atoms of oxygen :) ! XD im in high school annd have to know this stuff

H2O2 is hydrogen peroxide. This is a highly reactive combination of Hydrogen and Oxygen. It is made of two hydrogen atoms and two oxygen atoms covalently linked to one another. The reactivity is due to the very high state of oxidation and the ease with which the compound can form hydroxyl radicals.
Oxygen's high electronegativity draws the weaker electronegativity of hydrogen, so that oxygen's valance shell, needing two electrons to fill it attracts the electrons of two hydrogens.
As posed, the question makes no sense. Because fluorine is the most electronegative of all elements, absolutely anything that it bonds to must inevitably be less electronegative. So no general comment or answer is possible beyond what follows from its electronegativity - it has a high tendancy to gain an electron.

The electromagnetic field would draw the structure towards the Hydrogen side of the molecule, making it a polar ionic compount.
